Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 October 2026
1. Who we are
FreeMocks (freemocks.co.uk) is run by [BUILD WITH LOVE LTD], [15 RADLIX ROAD, LEYTON, LONDON, E10 7BD] ("we", "us"). You can contact us through our contact page at freemocks.co.uk/contact.
FreeMocks is an independent practice website. We are not connected to, approved by or endorsed by City & Guilds, EAL, ECS, LCL Awards, BPEC, the IET, MCS, WRAS or any other awarding or standards body. Their names and qualification codes are used only to describe which exam our practice questions are for, and they remain the property of their owners.
2. Using FreeMocks
You must be 16 or over to create an account. If you are under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy a Pro pass.
Keep your login details private. Accounts are personal: please don't share them or let others use them.
You must not copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, sell or share our questions, explanations or other content, or try to get around the free/Pro limits. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
3. Our content
Our questions and explanations are written by us from the official documents for each exam (for example BS 7671, IET Guidance Note 3 and the Approved Documents). We check them carefully, but mistakes can happen and regulations change. If you spot something wrong, please flag the question so we can fix it.
FreeMocks is a study aid. It does not guarantee you will pass an exam, and it is not professional, legal or technical advice. Always follow the current regulations, manufacturers' instructions and your training centre's guidance when doing real work.
All content on FreeMocks belongs to us. You may use it for your own personal study only.
4. Free mocks and Pro passes
Some mocks are free. A Pro pass unlocks all mocks and full workouts for the period you choose (1, 6 or 12 months).
A Pro pass is a one-off payment. It does not renew automatically and we will never charge you again unless you buy another pass.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling on the pricing page at the time you buy. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Your Pro access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed and ends at the end of the period you bought.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Starting straight away: when you buy a Pro pass, you ask us to give you access immediately and you acknowledge that, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you therefore lose your 14-day right to cancel for a change of mind once access starts. You confirm this with the tick box on the payment page.
Our 48-hour refund promise: even so, if you're not happy, contact us within 48 hours of buying and we'll give you a full refund, as long as you haven't completed more than one paid mock since buying. A "paid mock" is any mock that is not one of the free mocks for that exam. To ask for a refund, use our contact page and include the email address on your account. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 5 to 10 working days of us approving them. Once refunded, your Pro access ends.
Your legal rights are not affected: if our service is faulty, not as described or not provided with reasonable care and skill, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including repair, replacement or a refund. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
If FreeMocks is unavailable for a long period because of a problem on our side, we will extend your Pro pass to make up for the lost time, or refund you if you prefer.
6. Availability and changes
We try to keep FreeMocks running smoothly but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, add or remove mocks and questions, for example when regulations change. We won't remove the overall service you paid for during your Pro pass without offering a fair refund.
7. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for exam results. Except where the law does not allow it, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time through our contact page. We may close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without good reason during a Pro pass, we will refund the unused part.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown at the top. If a change affects a Pro pass you have already bought, the terms in place when you bought it will continue to apply to that pass.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
